The Role of the Care Coordinator
The Care Coordinator is a vital part of the patient experience at Ascent Total Performance.
This role goes far beyond answering phones or scheduling appointments, it’s about creating an exceptional first impression, keeping the clinic running smoothly, and making sure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence, compassion, and growth.
As a Care Coordinator, you are often the first point of contact for our patients. The way you show up—through your energy, communication, and attention to detail—has the power to shape someone’s entire experience with our team.
Patients often come to us feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or in pain. Your role is to bring clarity, confidence, and positivity to their experience while helping support the flow and success of the clinic each day.

Help keep the clinic organized, efficient, and running smoothly
Support patients and therapists by removing barriers and staying one step ahead
Communicate the value of care clearly and confidently
Build trust with patients and help guide them through their experience at Ascent
Take ownership, solve problems proactively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Promote the Ascent brand and represent our mission with excellence
Manage scheduling, patient communication, insurance, co-pays, and front office operations
Maintain accurate records while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality
Lead from the front desk and model Ascent’s core values every day
